Accidental Inspiration, Work and a Whole Lot of Fun with Joshua Davis
Joshua Davis’ work has a very colorful and energetic look to it, and his lecture style follows suit.

Eva-Lotta Lamm is funny. She kicked off her talk on sketchnotes by declaring her love for the Pixies. She also doesn’t cook but makes great salads, doesn’t drive a car, and loves fresh fruit with yogurt and muesli for breakfast.
“Swiss Miss” Tina Roth Eisenberg began our first TYPO SF conference today with a talk on “The Power of Side Projects and Eccentric Aunts”. Tina’s own eccentric aunt was a designer who introduced her to the very idea that this thing called design was something that one could do for a living. The swiss miss passed down her own sage advice to the full auditorium with a list of 8 principles.
Blogger, designer and organizer of CreativeMornings, Tina Roth Eisenberg is well known in the design field. We are excited to have her presence at TYPO San Francisco as a speaker.
Dr. Michael B. Johnson captivated audiences at TYPO Berlin, and we are excited to have him speak at TYPO San Francisco!
The first TYPO conference in London was a big success. We had great speakers and a huge feedback in lots of magazines and blogs. Now we’re looking forward to the upcomming TYPO conferences in San Francisco “Connect”, in Berlin “sustain” and then back to UK the “TYPO London 2012 Authenticity” again at the University of London.
Whenever there are so many well known graphic designers, marketing specialist, brand managers and communication experts, it’s a great opportunity for interviews. Enjoy listening these TYPO speakers in addition to their official talks: Joachim Sauter, Dale Herigstad, Chip Kidd, Jonathan Barnbrook, Jonathan Ellery, Neville Brody, Jeff Faulkner, Tim Fendley, Erik Spiekermann.
Die Illustratorin und »heimliche«-Webgestalterin Jessica Hische ist verrückt nach Schriften und entwirft sie häufig für persönliche Projekte. Bekannt wurde Hische mit Arbeiten für Tiffany, Target und American Express.
Beinahe bekannter machten sie persönliche Seitenprojekte, wie Micro-Sites zu den Themen »Mom This is How Twitter Works«, »Should I Work for Free?« und »Don’t Fear the Internet« (gemeinsam mit Russ Maschmeyer).
Illustrator Jessica Hische is an inspiration for many young designers around the globe. We can’t wait to hear from this “ADC Young Gun” at TYPO San Francisco!
Als Einstimmung auf die TYPO Berlin 2012 aus dem Videoarchiv gekramt:
We are excited to have eclectic designer Morag Myerscough of London’s Supergroup speak at TYPO San Francisco.
