Marc Eckardt, San Francisco, 2010

Since 12 years TYPO Berlin invites the Hamburg-based photographer Marc Eckardt to shoot portraits of our international speakers. For this purpose Eckardt builds up a small photo studio in the back-stage area of TYPOhall. From today onward TYPOblog will publish every workday morning a Daily Eckardt.

Eike König: Eike Koenig lives and works as a graphic designer in Berlin. He is the founder of the design agency HORT. From time to time, he lectures, organises workshops and teaches at various colleges in Germany and abroad. Hort on Hort: “we love to work on projects that help people to understand information. We love to work for companies or undertakings that are in the starting blocks and have to find themselves. We love to be a part of creating a brand or a product, developing it and making it visible in the world”.

Eike König: Eike König lebt und arbeitet als Grafik Designer in Berlin und ist Gründer der Design Agentur HORT. Ab und an hält er Vorträge, organisiert Workshops und unterrichtet an verschiedenen Hochschulen im In- und Ausland. Hort über Hort: »Wir lieben es, an Projekten zu arbeiten, die den Menschen helfen, Informationen einfacher zu verstehen. Wir lieben es, für Unternehmen oder Unternehmungen zu arbeiten, die noch ganz am Anfang stehen und sich finden müssen. Wir lieben es, eine Marke oder ein Produkt mit zu gestalten und zu entwickeln und in der Welt sichtbar zu machen.«
