Attendees on TYPO: Pascal Giroux

TYPO would never be a success without our attendees. Curious about what draws these awesome designers and design fans to our conference? Read on!

TypoTalks had a chat with French Canadian graphic designer Pascal Giroux, who scored a pair of free tickets to TYPO with his winning tweet in our Valentine’s Day Twitter contest.

TYPO Talks: What attracted you to TYPO SF?

Pascal Giroux: The impressive amount of speakers who had a lot of success in the graphic design industry is one of the first reasons that attract me to TypoSF. As a young designer who is planning to start is own business, and is already working hard on multiples personal projects, I find it very inspirational to listen to successful creatives.

TT: Have you been to TYPO SF before? If so, what was your favorite part of the experience? If not, what are you most excited about?

PG: I never been to TYPO SF before, but I can’t wait to see designers from all around the world. I want to learn from people who design with a different angle than mine!

TT: What gets your creative rhythm going?

PG: To have a well balanced life! Outside of work, it’s important to stay active, socialize and try new experiences. I believe that everything a designer do outside of working will become is main creative strength.

TT: Which of our speakers are you most looking forward to?

PG: I’m not looking for a specific speaker, I want to be inspired by a variety of contrasted topics and stories.

TT: Do you have any current projects you or your group is working on that you would like to share?

PG: I’m currently in California for a one-year internship doing branding and packaging. Very busy year! I will also spend my year attending web and design events, learning my second language (English), working on personal projects, and surfing!
