One of the highlights of the second TYPO London conference will be Paula Scher. A Pentagram partner since 1991, Scher’s landmark identity for The Public Theater ‘fused high and low into a wholly new symbology for cultural institutions, and her recent architectural collaborations have re-imagined the urban landscape as a dynamic environment of dimensional graphic design’ (AIGA).

TYPO London facilitator Erik Spiekermann is as passionate about cycling as he is about typography. To recover from the two days of conference turmoil, Erik volunteered to guide a typographic bike tour around London and to show his favorite font spots to TYPO attendants. Born in London in 1970 and raised on a diet of Richard Scarry, Hergé, Judge Dredd and Albert Camus, James Jarvis studied Illustration at the University of Brighton and the Royal College of Art, graduating in 1995. Since then he has gone on to establish himself as a graphic artist of international repute.
