Design has been traditionally seen as the vehicle between sender and receiver. The message that delivers the content. A servant of information. Design now has a voice, is part of a message. The process in between sender and receiver has become visible and therefore the content has been altered, but not necessarily changed. This is symptomatic for the world we live in. We accompany persons and organizations, interact and grow with them. Their identities are not single messages anymore, they are living organisms that evolve in interaction with their environment. Design is not about visualizing a single message anymore, it is about creating a process, a methodology, a system, a vocabulary that gives flexibility to the communication. Design isn’t static anymore, it is a flexible process that reacts and adapts.
In this talk Lupi Asensio and Martin Lorenz of TwoPoints.net will show some of their recent projects and explain how they cooked them… it’s all about the process!
