A navigation system for the typeface universe

Search engines find the latest music that is exactly what the searcher wants to hear; they sift through words spoken in videos, and recognize faces from photographs. So the obvious next step is a system like that for typefaces. Loviscach’s presentation will examine this concept and demonstrate the technical possibilities, including Crawler, which can search the web for specific fonts, and Karten, which automatically groups fonts by similarity and displays them on one screen.
