Jörn Loviscach was a professor of computer graphics, animation and simulation at Bremen’s University of the Applied Sciences. Since 2009, he has been a professor of technical mathematics and computer engineering at the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. He has worked for several computer trade magazines, most recently as deputy editor-in-chief of c’t. Loviscach holds a PhD in physics and is a great fan of the possibilities and impossibilities of applied mathematics.
