Typefaces have barely changed since the 15th century, and the hybrid FF Franziska also incorporates many elements that already existed. Nonetheless, it has become a modern font family with a strong character. In his presentation, creator Jakob Runge uses wit and information to tell us how that happened, and explains the concepts behind the strokes – from the first sketch to examples of its initial application.
