The PRINZ VON HESSEN vineyard in Johannisberg in the Rheingau wine region is among Germany’s premiere Riesling producers. It is owned by the family foundation of the Hessen dynasty, which has a history going back 800 years. Noblesse oblige … but not to stagnation. That is why the traditional winery decided to develop an entirely new look for the brand. The new image combines historical heraldry with elements of modern design to produce a visual brand that is full of character and perfect for the 21st century. Landgrave Donatus von Hessen and Holger Schmidhuber will talk about their collaboration and provide a fascinating look at the process of creative quarrelling.
