GlyphsSDK: Write Your Own Glyphs Plugin

Thanks to the great work of Yanone, Glyphs 2.3 sports an updated API and an all-new SDK, which make extending Glyphs truly easy. This classroom takes you through the creation of two plugins, and points you to useful resources for writing your own code.

Required: MacBook with OS X 10.9.5+, Glyphs 2.3 and your favourite text editor (e.g., TextMate or Sublime). Basic knowledge of Python recommended.

Rainer Erich (‘Eric’) Scheichelbauer was born in Vienna, and studied photography, philosophy and Dutch. Today, he creates and produces typefaces, gives type design workshops, translates Dutch books on typography into German, and writes articles and Python scripts. He joined the Glyphs team in 2012, and has been writing tutorials and the handbook ever since.
