Born in 1961, graphic designer and teacher of typography. He founded Büro Magenta in Freiburg in 1991. He has been a lecturer of editorial design at Freie Hochschule Freiburg, and involved in the academic Zwiebelfisch – Magazin für Gestaltung project since 2002. Co-founder of the Teaching Designers Network with lecturers from Italy, Japan, Russia, Spain, and the USA in 2004.
