started his own design studio in 1991 while still studying architecture at the University of Jordan. Over the last 10 years he was involved in numerous publishing design and technology ventures in the Middle East, gaining professional experience in information technology, user experience design, marketing and internet consulting. Before founding SYNTAX Digital, in 1998, he was Creative Director at a number of magazines including BYTE Middle East and Popular Sciense Middle East, where he lead the branding, design and production efforts. Currently, Ahmand Humeid leads the design and development efforts at SYNTAX Digital, which has grown to over 20 designers, technologists and consultants, with offices in New York, Berlin and Amman.
