Fritz Grögel

Fritz Grögel

Fritz Grögel studied Communication Design at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences, École Estienne in Paris and the Escola superior de Desenho industrial in Rio. From 2006 to 2009 he was a Corporate Designer with Fuenfwerken Berlin. In 2010 he obtained his Master of Type and Media in the Type Design class of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Together with Elena Albertoni he founded Studio LetterinBerlin in 2011. The company specializes in analogue and digital design and type. Grögel’s work focuses on appearances, custom type and book design. He has been a lecturer of Applied Typography, currently at the FH Bielefeld.
