Workshop: Letter As Object – Conceptualizing & Sketching Representational Letterforms

Developing representational lettering is primarily about balancing the clarity of the object and the integrity of the letterform. I will lead workshop participants through this process, starting by conceptualizing multiple directions based on a project brief. From there we will work through the sketching process for one of these directions. By the end of the workshop, participants should have fully developed a sketched direction for this brief, ready to take into final art on their own.
