(Workshop) Braille

TYPO Berlin 2017 Wanderlust | Thursday, 25 May | 6:00 pm | Nest | German

Reading, something most of us do without thinking, presents a large hurdle to the visually impaired. So they read with their hands. The Braille alphabet is based on cells containing a grid of six dots.

This workshop will take a closer look at how the Braille alphabet is constructed and make playful use of what we learn. The system of dots produces a graphic grid, from which various visual models can be generated.
