I developed a project with students from the Munich Design School which emerged from my Munich Typewalks. During the project we (re)discovered the sign painter Karl Blaschke who ran the largest lettering workshop in Munich during the 60s and 70s and who enjoyed an excellent reputation. Welcome to a time in which lettering was still fire-gilded.
