Designing for the user vs. designing for the client

A lot of young designers kick off their career in an agency. While this is an advisable path to take, there is another big player on the job market longing for design talent: technology start-ups. The time has come to shed some light on what you can learn in a start-up compared to an agency. This talk will share experiences on topics like receiving feedback from 1.000.000 users compared to 1 client, keeping up creativity while working on a variety of projects or a single product, as well as evaluating your work by profit metrics and not only the design community’s feedback.
