Since January 2011 the Berlin-based tabloid B.Z. has been producing a monthly iPad journal. Berliner Zeiten, as it is called, is fully developed, laid out and edited on the iPad. The B.Z. corporate software applied is probably the first iPad newspaper editing system ever. What options and limits exist when producing a newspaper directly on the device? The presentation illustrates the first experiences made with editing a journal using the iPad.
