Vladimir Levantovsky is a Senior Technology Strategist at Monotype. He has been involved in the development of the core font technology standards since 2002 and has been a contributing member to many industry organizations and consortiums. Vlad currently serves as a chair of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Fonts Working Group and as a chair of the ISO/IEC subgroup that is responsible for OpenType standardization, and is an active contributor and a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s HTML5 Best Practices Task Force. He has been involved in the work of various standards organizations for over 13 years and is passionate about advancing typographic capabilities on consumer electronics, mobile devices and on the Web.
