Prof. Jürgen Huber and Martin Wenzel are seasoned multiple award-winning type designers who together make up the custom type partnership supertype.de. They are best known for their typefaces for the German federal government, and the latest family of fonts for the European electronics retailer Media Markt. They both studied communication design, and design and work with type. Huber studied at Folkwang University in Essen with Prof. Volker Küster before working for MetaDesign until 2004. Wenzel studied at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, then worked for Buro Petr van Blokland + Claudia Mens until 2005. Both teach typography at the HTW University of Applied Sciences, Berlin.
