Siri Poarangan, born in 1976, studied communication design with a focus on corporate design and book design at the Technical College of Mainz/Germany. After having worked as an art director with Sign Kommunikation in Frankfurt upon Main and as a scientific assistant at FH Mainz, she became a design director of MetaDesign in Berlin in 2005. There she worked for Volkswagen, Fonic, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and other clients. Siri Poarangan has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. Since 2011 she has been living in Düsseldorf, where she is the creative director of the design team of Peter Schmidt Group.
