Raban Ruddigkeit founded the first and last fanzine in East Germany. After ten years as an illustrator and designer for magazines (including Das Magazin) and art director (including Scholz and Friends, Jung von Matt) he decided to combine the two worlds in setting up his own Berlin agency. Raban has won ca. 50 national and international awards. He is a member of the ADC and sits on this year’s jury for the American 3×3 Annual competition. He publishes the illustrators’ yearbook »Freistil« (freestyle) and in 2008, he and Lars Harmsen developed the first »font calendar«, called the Typodarium.
