Piet Schreuders

In a career spanning more than three decades, Piet Schreuders has juggled graphic design, historical research, photography and writing in a unique mix of activities. His book publications include a history of vintage paperback covers, a guide to Beatles locations in London and an illustrated biography of the American illustrator James Avati. In his pamphlet “Lay In – Lay Out” he took a stand against imitative modernist typography. He publishes a highly irregular magazine about cats (De Poezenkrant) and is art director of the weekly media magazine VPRO Gids.
