Nils Holger Moormann was born in Stuttgart. He is the founder and owner of Moormann Furniture Production and Trade GmbH (number of employees: 23). He is also a member of various national and international design juries (Design Plus, IF, Bundespreis for product design, SMI, Mia Seeger Preis, Bayrischer Staatspreis, member of the jury for the Designpreis of the BRD). Nils has constantly extended his successful collection of furniture, with increasingly innovative systems hitting the market yearly. He’s been awarded reknown design-related prizes on a number of occasions, including from the Bundespreis for Product Design, IF Hannover, Top Ten, and Designzentrum NRW. He recently bought, restored and moved into the “Festhalle,” the former economics building of the grand horse stables in Hohenaschau.
