Louis Rossetto

Louis Rossetto is co-founder, first editor-in-chief, and ex-CEO of Wired Ventures, which published Wired magazine and created a suite of websites including HotWired, Hotbot, Wired News, Webmonkey, Suck, and dozens of others. Under Rossetto’s editorial direction, Wired magazine won two National Magazine Awards for general excellence, and Wired Digital was a web pioneer when it launched HotWired in 1994, the first website that had original advertising and Fortune 500 advertising. Conde Nast bought Wired magazine in 1998, and Lycos bought Wired Digital in 1999. Since, Rossetto has been a recovering entrepreneur.
