Laura Meseguer is a type and graphic designer based in Barcelona. She specializes in typographic design and the design of letters, from a monogram to a whole alphabet. She publishes as well as promotes all her type designs through her own type foundry, Type-Ø-Tones. In 2003-2004, she took a year off and took the postgraduate Type and Media course at KABK (Royal Academy of Art) in The Hague, Holland. Laura also works as a professor of typography and gives workshops all over Spain. Laura’s work has been featured in several publications such as Area 2, Communication Arts, Print Magazine, Visual, Page, Grafik, Items and Step Magazine; and in several exhibitions including The Laus Prizes. She holds awards from the ADG-FAD (Spain) as well as a Certificate of Typographic Excellence (TDC2 2005).
