Katrin Tobies explores spatial staging. She has a PhD from Leipzig University, where she wrote her thesis on innovation and technology communication in the public sector. She works for the economics office of the Berlin state assembly, where she heads the division of European projects to foster creative industries, new media and innovation clusters. She previously served as a communications management consultant to various organisations and was an assistant professor for »games and interactive media« at the college of technology and business in Berlin. She studied civil and business communication at Berlin’s university of fine arts and sociology, politics and journalism at Berlin’s Free University and Technical University. On her many travels, she passionately enjoys visiting real-life adventure parks.
