Donald Beekman, born and raised in Amsterdam, has run his design studio DBXL since 1984. Over the years he has designed many logos, record and cd sleeves, flyers, posters, identities, magazines and packaging. Donald has also designed many typefaces, most of them emanating from logos or artwork designed for clients. Still a musician, he has been co-hosting Typeradio since 2004, and in 2008 joined Donald Roos in running the VetteLetters foundry.
