Alexander Branczyk is the designer of a great number of CI fonts for cultural and commercial clients. He studied »for a long time« at the Offenbach Academy of Art and Design and was at the Bauhaus University in Weimar for 4 semesters (as Prof). After 7 »extra fat« years with Erik Spiekermann, he set up xplicit GmbH in 1994 with Thomas Nagel and Uwe Otto. His attempt to outrun the rest at TYPO with his typosium »TypograVieh lebt« (The typographic beast is alive and kicking) failed! And so, he pulled on his boxing gloves and attacked Spieker-/Weidemann and Fidel P. and was declared Fontfight Champion.
