Das Spiel geht einfach: Jens zieht einen Begriff, legt ihn neben die Karte „Schrift“ und antwortet, was ihm dazu einfällt. Assoziativ und schnell.

Thomas Phinney joins us for this week’s Focus Forum.
Phinney is vice president of FontLab in Portland, Oregon. He is also a freelance type consultant, font detective, and type designer. He previously spent five years at Extensis creating webfonts and font management tools, and over a decade at Adobe as product manager for fonts and global typography.

Mark Simonson is an independent type designer working out of his home in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Over the span of his career he has designed over a dozen typefaces, perhaps most notably the Proxima Nova family.
