He is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale, the TDC NY and the advisory council for interdisciplinary projects at Bremerhaven’s Designlabor. Fons Hickmann ist Designer, Autor und Professor für Grafik Design an der Universität der Künste. Er gründete 2001 das Büro »Fons Hickmann m23« und entwickelt Projekte, Ausstellungen, Publikationen rund um die Welt. Er ist Mitglied der Alliance Graphique Internationale, des TDC NY und Beirat für interdisziplinäre Projekte am Designlabor Bremerhaven.
