Ksenya Samarskaya is the founding member of Samarskaya & Partners, drafting type to push against the limits of technology, radiate legibly on small screens, and trigger nuanced algorithms of emotion and history. Originating from St. Petersburg, Russia, Samarskaya holds a double B.F.A. which focused on installation art, photography, and physical computing. Recent clients and collaborators include Apple, Font Bureau, Google, Ideo, MCKL Type, Monotype, and Rosetta Type Foundry.
