Snezhana Chernogortseva joined MegaFon, the second largest telecom operator in Russia, at the beginning of 2017. She plays as a key leader in the development of the brand portfolio strategy, as well as bringing it to life under all group telecom assets through the new brand philosophy, platform, and brand identity for MegaFon brand. This is a key strategic undertaking, which supports the digital transformation announced by the company as its pivotal new business strategy in 2016. Before MegaFon, she held the position of Strategic Marketing & Integrated Marketing Communications Director in Veon, Russia.
For the previous 10 years, Snezhana held the position Marketing Director of Red Bull Russia, and as member of the Management Board where she lead Local Consumer Marketing, Sport, Culture and Communication strategies and plans, developed in-line with international guidelines to ensure localization of the global brand vision.
She speaks frequently at academic/industry events in Russia, is an active member of the local professional marketing community, and has been invited to judge the Effie Awards in Russia in 2017 and 2018. Snezhana graduated The State Academy of Management and received her PhD in Economics. In 2018 she was named “Media Person of the Year,” by the National Business Communications Award (NPBK).
