Francesco Franchi is a Designer, Art director for IL / Il Sole 24 ORE, Journalist, Professor and Author of Designing News, published by Gestalten Verlag. He is also a member of The Society of Publication Designer (New York) and professional member of AIAP, the Italian Council of Communication Design.

Since 2008 Francesco is the art director at IL, the monthly magazine of Il Sole 24 ORE. Before that he worked as a senior designer at Leftloft, a Milan based design studio, dealing with communication design, editorial projects and infographics.

He is one of the new talents working in information graphics and has already received international acclaim for his characteristic editorial and information design for IL – Ideas and Lifestyle Magazine.
