Erwin K. Bauer trained in Alpine agriculture and communications design. He worked as a designer at Total Identity and then began teaching the graphic design class at the University of Applied Arts. Bauer teaches, curates and serves on juries internationally, as well as regularly publishing trade material on current design issues. His interdisciplinary design studio “bauer konzept & gestaltung” has been awarded numerous prizes, including from the red dot, European Design Awards and the Austrian State Awards.
