Christoph Amend

Editor-in-chief / ZEITmagazin (Berlin)

Christoph Amend, born 1974 in Giessen, is editor-in-chief of the Zeit magazine and publisher of the magazines Weltkunst and Kunst und Auktionen, published by the Zeit Kunstverlag house. He previously edited the Sunday supplement of Berlin’s Tagesspiegel newspaper and was deputy editor of the Süddeutsche newspaper’s magazine. He co-authored the 2012 book Ein Jahr, Ein Leben with actress Iris Berben and his book Morgen tanzt die ganze Welt won the 2004 Hermann Hesse prize for up-and-coming writers. Amend lives in Berlin.
