Mark van Wageningen: Typewood & the declaration of deconstructed typography
The Novo Typo design studio is a design studio from Amsterdam which deals with various projects, orientation systems, corporate identity, book covers and posters. Their work, often inspired by deconstructivism, goes against the trend of “perfect, polished” aesthetics.
TYPO Labs: The DTL Story – 40 Years and Counting (Update)
Ikarus is the name of a digital outline format invented in the early 70s by Peter Karow. It was one of the earliest developments to describe complex character outlines digitally. A number of foundries started digitizing their type libraries using the Ikarus technology. Doing so required a software package for producing Ikarus fonts. Those software tools are still at the core of what today are known as DTL/URW++ font tools.

Krassen Krestev: Bulgarian Cyrillic, identity in progress
Krassen Krestev presented a detailed and comprehensive review of the Bulgarian Cyrillic script. He talked about its origin, development, and — most excitingly — gave a detailed analysis of Bulgarian Cyrillic’s properties in typesetting.
