Flashback Tuesday: Tina Roth Eisenberg, TYPO Berlin 2015

In her talk at TYPO Berlin 2015, Tina shares stories about how her labors of love (aka side projects) redefined her career. She urges us to embrace generosity and kindness in the work place, and explains why every business needs a confetti drawer.

Tina Roth Eisenberg is a New York based, Swiss born and raised graphic designer. Tina is often referred to as Swissmiss after her popular design blog. It is also her Twitter handle. Over the past nine years she started numerous side projects that have organically turned into businesses: a collaborative co-working space called FRIENDS, a simple to-do app called TeuxDeux and Tattly, a designer temporary tattoo shop. The global, monthly lecture series called CreativeMornings, which she also founded, has just launched a kickstarter campaign to support the volunteers who make it happen. As of the date of this post, you still have four days to pitch in!

My job is to “sit behind a computer and laugh.” In her talk at TYPO Berlin, Tina explains her principles how to live a happy and fulfilled work and personal life – filled with confetti, good people and the intent, to make things better. Her talk is a mix of advice from the heart, case studies and great stories of how she became an equally happy and successful person.
